The weaving methods of blankets are divided into machine weaving and knitting. Woven blankets can be divided into ordinary wool looms and pile looms; Knitting is divided into warp knitting, tufting, needle knitting, sewing, etc. Both raising woven blankets and warp knitted blankets use the cutting method to obtain the fleece, so the fleece is upright, the fleece is smooth, the feel is soft and elastic, and they are the middle and higher grade varieties of blankets. In addition to raising, post processing also includes steaming, combing, scratching, ironing, shearing or rolling according to the requirements of different varieties. The appearance image of the blanket is diverse, including the pile type with plump and curly down, the pile type with upright and rich velvet, the pile type with long and smooth down, the rolling ball type like lambskin, and the irregular ripple pattern. The patterns and colors of blankets are various, including geometric patterns, flowers, landscapes, animals, etc. Generally, blankets are decorated and reinforced by binding, wrapping and fringing.
